  • The Flood – Chamber Opera (2018) – with librettist Stephen Wadsworth; Opera based on the Franklinton Flood of 1913; Co-commissioned by Opera Columbus and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra of Columbus; World Premiere, February 8, 9, 10, 2019; Steven Osgood, Conductor; Stephen Wadsworth, Director. Winner, 2019 Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Award for Artistic Excellence.

  • Morpheus Rides for string quartet (2014). Commissioned and premiered by Carpe Diem String Quartet at the 2014 Music of Now Marathon: Rapid Ear Movement at Symphony Space, NYC.
  • Claudel – Ballet for String Quartet, Soprano, and Tenor (2014), 82 minutes. Commissioned by Columbus Dance Theatre, Nominated for the 2014 Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Award for Artistic Excellence, world premiere 2014, subsequent performances: Columbus, OH 2015.
  • Big Bad Dog – Concerto for Violin and Piano (2013). Commissioned by Elise Winters Huete for publication in Kaleidoscope Method for Violin, Volume 5. Premiered by Cameron Bennett and Charles Wetherbee.
  • The Storyteller – Concerto for Violin and String Orchestra (2012). Commissioned by Charles Wetherbee. World premiere performance on April 22, 2012 by the National Gallery Orchestra, Chosei Komatsu, guest conductor, and Charles Wetherbee, violin soloist. The performance was part of the “National Gallery of Art Cherry Blossom Music Festival,” featuring Japanese and American performers in honor of the exhibition Colorful Realm: Japanese Birdand-Flower Paintings by Itō Jakachū (1716–1800), in concert with other institutions that are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the gift to the nation’s capital of cherry trees from the people of Japan. Subsequent performances in Washington, DC (2014); Nagoya, Japan (2014); Boulder, CO 2015; Boca Raton, FL 2016.
  • Courage – Dance Score for String Quartet (2011), based on the life experiences of Seth Wilson, presented in partnership with The Puffin Foundation and the NAACP, commissioned by Columbus Dance Theatre, Nominated for the 2011 Greater Columbus Arts Council’s Award for Artistic Excellence.
  • If You Stand Very Still – for SSAA and String Orchestra or String Quartet (2010). Commissioned by the Columbus Children’s Choir and The Chamber Music Connection of Columbus.

  • Six Tasty Caprices for solo violin (2009), 30 minutes. Commissioned by Charles Wetherbee, performed throughout the United States, Japan, Australia.
  • Jig for the Kids for string trio (2009), 5 minutes.
  • Fiddle Suite: Montana (2007-09). Commissioned by the Carpe Diem String Quartet, partial premieres in April 2007, May 2008, world premiere of complete suite May 2009, performed 50-100 times annually since 2009.
  • Entangled Banks (2008). Commissioned by The Entomology Department of The Ohio State University for the symposium Intersection of Faith and Evolution: Defining Science and Religion, premiered Oct 22, 2008 by the Carpe Diem String Quartet, subsequent performances in Los Angeles, CA; Dillon, CO; Columbus, OH.
